THE OBJECTIVES

MediaCast partnered with the Australian Dental Association for the second year to deliver the annual Dental Health Week campaign.

The key objective of the campaign was to drive awareness of the Australian Dental Association (ADA) and position the ADA as the authority on oral health and clinical practice.

Our goal was to achieve national coverage by targeting key metro outlets across broadcast media.

THE CAMPAIGN

The campaign targeted television and radio by leveraging new research from the ADA released in line with Dental Health Week.

Alongside offering live interview availability, a Video News Release (VNR) was developed to sell-in to targeted television contacts at key metro and regional outlets.

Live interviews with experts were pitched to radio stations nationwide, alongside an Audio News Release  to diversify the scope of the campaign.

THE RESULTS

Our 2023 campaign was hugely successful, with coverage comprised of 809 radio items and 17 television items.

We secured coverage across the country, with news bulletins running on radio stations in metro, major and regional markets and across national networks. Talkback interviews were also secured with key metro outlets.

The large amount of available talent supported the success of the campaign, allowing for 31 total interviews to take place, while the VNR and ANR helped to bolster results by increasing the campaign scope to hit key outlets which could not facilitate interviews.
